Selected Works of Assoc. Prof. T. A. Wysocki
Dr Tadeusz Wysocki is an Associate Professor in the School of Elecrtrical, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Wollongong. Dr Wysocki began his career working for the Academy of Technology and Agriculture, Bydgoszcz, Poland. In January 1992, Dr Wysocki came to Australia to work at Edith Cowan University in Perth. In 1993, he returned to Europe where he was a visiting senior research fellow at Fernuniversitaet of Hagen, Germany, under an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellowship. On his return to Perth in 1994, he was appointed Project Leader, Wireless ATM LANs, at the CRC for Broadband Telecommunications and Networking, and the manager of the CRC-BTN node at Edith Cowan University. In December 1998, Dr Wysocki joined the University of Wollongong as an Associate Professor, and in August 1999 he assumed a position of Research Coordinator for the Switched Networks Research Centre within the Telecommunications & Information Technology Research Institute. Dr Wysocki is the author or co-author of three books, over 90 research publications and nine patents. His areas of research interest include: indoor propagation of microwaves, code division multiple access (CDMA), digital modulation and coding schemes as well as mobile data protocols including those for ad-hoc networks. He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of the Australian Association of von Humboldt Fellows, and a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Telecommunications and Information Technology.
