Abstract

As a researcher from a positivist background who has spent the last few years learning the language and methods of, for want of a better term, qualitative research, I would like to comment on the recent article by Bunniss and Kelly1 and the accompanying commentary by Rees and Monrouxe. 2 My interest in qualitative research has grown from my experience of the richness of the information it produces.
