Background: The then School of Creative Arts established undergraduate and postgraduate courses in 1984. Part of this development as a School included a public gallery - The Long Gallery. The policy of the Long Gallery was to promote public exhibitions of contemporary artists including University of Wollongong student and staff exhibitions. This poster reproduces the style of Chinese Communist Party posters from the time of the late 1960s Cultural Revolution. The 1988 staff exhibition was curated by Richard Hook and Bert Flugelman.
