The ten segment maritime boundary between the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) and the Marshall Islands extends approximately 755 n.m. The boundary is described as being a line “seaward” of five named FSM islands and four named islands of the Marshall Islands. The maritime boundary predominantly follows the equidistance line between these named features. The delimitation is for both the exclusive economic zones (EEZ) and the continental shelf of the two States, with the end points of the boundary 200 n.m. from the nearest feature of each State.
