Abstract

It begins, as so many television crime series do, with a body. This time, it is that of a woman found in the middle of the bridge spanning the Oresund Strait connecting Denmark to Southern Sweden. As we watch in the pre-title sequence, a car drives onto the bridge, the bridge lights go out and an unidentifiable person carefully places the body on a yellow line drawn to demarcate the border between Denmark and Sweden.
