Abstract
In a recent TiCS article, Gallese and Sinigaglia [1] articulate a view of embodied simulation according to which one understands others by reusing one's own mental states or processes as bodily formatted representations. We suggest that these notions of reuse and bodily formatted representation lack explanatory power.
