Selected Works of Assoc. Prof. Jiangtao Xi
Dr. Jiangtao Xi was born in 1962 in Henan Province, China. He received the BESc from Beijing Institute of Technology, Beijing, China in 1982, the MESc from TsingHua University, Beijing, China in 1985, and PhD from the University of Wollongong, Australia, in 1996 respectively, all in electrical engineering. He is a senior member of the IEEE. Prior to re-joining the University of Wollongong as a Senior Lecturer in 2003 Jiangtao was an academic staff at Zhengzhou University from 1985 to 1991. He was an Associate Lecturer at the University of Wollongong while working on his Ph.D thesis from 1992 to 1995. In October 1995 he went to Canada, and took a Postdoctoral Fellow position at Communications Research Laboratory, McMaster University, Hamilton, Ontario. From 1996 to 1998 he was a Member of the Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories, Lucent Technologies in New Jersey, USA. He was a lecturer at the University of Wollongong during the period from 1998 to 2000 and The Chief Technical Officer of TCL IT Group Co Ltd, in Shenzhen, China from 2000 to 2002.
