Overview of the partial differential equation filter method for the electronic speckle pattern interferometry fringes
We provide an overview of recent developments of the partial differential equation (PDE) filter method for the electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI) fringes. Different PDE models are discussed and compared. The main emphasis is on the two development directions of the PDE filter method in ESPI and some filter results are given. Finally, the outlook for the PDE method in ESPI is discussed.
