Abstract
The term 'electronic materials' refers to material that has been digitally processed so that the user is able to access it through a single source, usually a computer. In this chapter we will be referring to three major, interrelated dimensions of electronic materials that have proven beneficial to L2 learning: hypermedia, multimedia and communication media.
