Abstract

In this paper, a self-organising multi-agent framework is proposed.Different from current related approaches which concernedonly a single principle of self-organisation, this frameworksynthesises the three principles of self-organisation,i.e., agent cloning/spawning, resource exchange and relationadaptation. In this framework, an agent can autonomouslygenerate new agents when it is overloaded, exchange resourceswith other agents if necessary, and adapt relationswith other agents to achieve a better network structure. Inthis way, agents in this framework can adapt to dynamicenvironments.
