Abstract
As viewers we usually approach objects not just prepared, but already engaged both physically and emotionally. Artists work with an awareness of this preparation for engagement and create pieces which might confirm or challenge the viewer's approach. In the exhibition RISK-Transformative Practices there is a particular mix to this play of challenge and confirmation.
