Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine employee perceptions regarding the impactof workplace attire on workplace outcomes and how one is viewed by others. Results from asample of MBA students indicate that today¿s workers do see workplace attire as impactingworkplace outcomes and how one is viewed by others. This is somewhat influenced by one¿sgender and the value one places on attire. These results and directions for future research arediscussed.
