The Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) portfolios were created in 2019. They were formerly the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) portfolio (2014-2019) and prior to that the Academic Services Division. They comprise the following units:
