Abstract
In this issue of ALR we con[t]inue our series on the ACTU/ALP Accord. We will be publishing further articles in future editions. In this article, Herb Thompson refutes a number of arguments commonly put forward to justify the Accord; he argues that the objectives of democratic socialism have been rejected in favour of capitalist economic management.
