Student Activism

Abstract

Many attempts have been made to define the radical and revolutionary student movement both nationally and as a world wide phenomenon. All aspects of the student revolt are subject to differing assessments, even amongst student leaders there is no agreement on its extent, motivation and potential. Australian Left Review asked student leaders from Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney and Brisbane a nuniber of questions, which we had been asking ourselves, in an effort to understand this important new contribution to the movement for social change. Here student leaders speak for themselves.
